When it Rains, it Pours...
Alright, PP is giving me grief for selling an adult comic through my blog, so I am now looking for an alternative way to sell the Sideshow Nympho webcomic. Needless to say, the 4th chapter is on hold until I find a new avenue for sales. Will let you know how that goes.

Aye, Paypal seem to be run by puritans. Many years ago now, but they even pretended to be a college girl emailing me to ask to pay for access to my site on Paypal, and like a fool I said yes, and they then shut my account down.

ReplyDeleteA friend of mine also told me about CCBill, so I'm looking into it right now. I'll check out Verotel as well.

The major difference between the two is that with CCBill you have to pay a fee to process Visa cards, with Verotel you don't. So for smaller volumes, Verotel are cheaper, though it seems in my experience that for some reason CCBill have a bit more "consumer trust" than Verotel among potential customers, which seems to me to be an unjustified distinction as they're both decent companies.

Also in recent years Paypal has began subtracting a fee from payment recipients (their Spanish customer service is disastrous).
